About
Instances (also known as Memorial Dungeons) are one of the
defining features of Renewal Ragnarok.
They are dungeons which can only be accessed once a party
triggers the creation of the specific map.
Once created, the instance will only be accessible to the party which
created it. During it's duration it's not possible to add or remove party members. Other parties who wish to enter such a dungeon will create a different instance of the map, which is where the term comes from.
There are all kinds of instances, including solo instances. To enter said instances, you must create a single-person party.
Talk to the Instance Manager, pick a instance you want to do and create it to join.
Instance Cooldown
On Shining Moon, every instance with 24h or less remaining cooldown gets reset at 00:01 server time.
Each instance difficulty has its own cooldown. This means you can do an instance 4 times a day (on top of Purgatory).
Cooldown Manager
Using the npc above, booster and x1 characters get the option to reset instances and quests for each class mastery slot they have that has reached a minimum level of 230 every day. Non x1/booster characters get this option for each class mastery slot that has reached level 250.
Special Drops
Some instances have special mapwide drops and some MVPs from certain instances have a chance to drop Otherworld Fragments
Instance Coins
Finishing instances in Shining Moon also grant you
Instance Coin based on the difficulty of the instance, as well as a 3% chance to receive
Kachua's Secret Key .
Finishing certain instances also count towards the Weekly Memorial Dungeon Quest from the Instance Manager.
instance coins are a currency granted by completing the following instances.
Note: It does not matter whether you're the healer or the killer. Everyone in the party gets the instance coins for completing the instance completely.
Shining Moon exclusive Instance Difficulty choice has instance coin gained multiplier as well.
To see how much Instance coins you would get for doing the instance in different difficulties simply use (Instance coin * Difficulty Multiplier).
Example:
You did Endless Cellar on Normal Mode: You would get 15 Points.
If you do Endless Cellar on Hell Mode: You would get 27 Instance coin (15 * 1.8 = 27).
