Overview
Custom dungeons that drops cash shop items from kro. These dungeons are the end game content for Shining Moon RO and are meant to be done in a group. All mobs in fortessa dungeons have a chance of dropping Old Enriched Elunium and Old Enriched Oridecon, as well as Ancient Fortessa Coin. It can be accessed via @go 49 or @go gateway.
Fortessa Players and Monsters Balance
New changes have been done regarding skill balancing in fortessa, the class modifiers have been removed and replaced by specific skill modifiers listed below. This system has the objective of reducing the over-performance of specific skills in order to promote build diversity, these changes will apply inside a Fortessa map and Purgatory. Additionally HP draining effects have been disabled. Outside, the skills will behave normally.
Dungeon Effects
- Activity Points (AP) Are not lost upon death
- Resistances are capped at 90%
MvP
- If the damaging skill has a cooldown of 1 second or longer : basic: max 4% dmg + (0.4%*1.25) for every 4% above 4%.
- If the damaging skill has a cooldown of 0.5 second or longer : basic: max 1.9% dmg + (0.19%*1.25) for every 1.9% above 1.9%.
- If the damaging skill has a cooldown of 0.3 second or longer : basic: max 1.7% dmg + (0.17%*1.25) for every 1.7% above 1.7%.
- If the damaging skill has a cooldown of 0.25 second or longer : basic: max 1.6% dmg + (0.16%*1.25) for every 1.6% above 1.6%.
- If the damaging skill has a cooldown of 0.2 second or longer : basic: max 1.55% dmg + (0.155%*1.25) for every 1.55% above 1.55%.
- If the damaging skill has a cooldown of less than 0.2 second : basic: max 1.5% dmg + (0.15%*1.25) for every 1.5% above 1.5%.
Max HP / 100 * Cooldown % MOD = BASIC (Max Number of basic damage)
Damage - BASIC = LEFT (Left Over that's too much)
LEFT / BASIC = DIV (Amount of times Basic / 10 will be multiplied)
Basic + ( ( Basic / 10 ) * 1.4 ) * (DIV*1.25) ) = Result
Result * 0.75
Normal Monsters
- If the damaging skill has a cooldown of 1 second or longer : basic: max 8% dmg + (0.8%*1.4) for every 8% above 8%.
- If the damaging skill has a cooldown of 0.5 second or longer : basic: max 3.8% dmg + (0.38%*1.4) for every 3.8% above 3.8%.
- If the damaging skill has a cooldown of 0.3 second or longer : basic: max 3.4% dmg + (0.34%*1.4) for every 3.4% above 3.4%.
- If the damaging skill has a cooldown of 0.25 second or longer : basic: max 3.2% dmg + (0.32%*1.4) for every 3.2% above 3.2%.
- If the damaging skill has a cooldown of 0.2 second or longer : basic: max 3.1% dmg + (0.31%*1.4) for every 3.1% above 3.1%.
- If the damaging skill has a cooldown of less than 0.2 second : basic: max 3% dmg + (0.3%*1.4) for every 3% above 3%.

Otherworldly Energy
- Monsters have 500~600 RES and MRES
- Monsters are boss protocol outside damage calculations, however during damage calculations they are considered Normal monsters (i.e Abysmal Knight does not boost damage against them)
- Monsters CRIT shield has been increased by a large amount
- Monsters have a passive 1% per second heal
- Bosses have a 2 billon HP shield on spawn
- Bosses take 80% less damage from AoE skills
- Bosses take 50% less damage from single target skills
- Bosses only take 10% damage while their respective mechanic is active
Fortessa Netherworld
After the collapse of Fortessa Dungeon, the spirits that used to wander in the castle roam free and made themselves a home in the Netherworld, now empowered by the dark energies spiking, they need to be put to rest. Fortessa Netherworld is the easiest of the new fortessa dungeons, and is full of demon race monsters.

Fortessa Volcano
The extreme climate forced the monsters to adapt, only leaving dragon type who use the hot climate in their attacks, adventurers are advised to get equipment resistant to fire, since equipment breaking and stripping is not a rare occurrence in the Volcano. Volcano is more challenging than netherworld and is full of dragon race monsters.

Fortessa Reef
Underwater life that could adapt into high pressure and extreme cold live in the reef. Capable adventurers who want to travel into the reef are advised to get protection against the extreme colds. Second hardest of the four new dungeons, mobs of fortessa reef are all fish race.

Fortessa Forest
The density of the forest makes it difficult to move through, the monsters in it have learned how to use the woods on their favour and ambushes from the sides are frequent, adventurers are advised to take equipment against the strong poisons, the poison is strong enough to destroy or strip any equipment they could have wear. Hardest of the fortessa dungeons, filled with plant race monsters.

Fortessa Pit
The dark energies also affected the pit, the monsters lurking in the dark corners have learned from the parties that assaulted their nests and now they are prepared to face their aggressors. Adventurers are advised to move with caution, the monsters have retained their defensive mechanics but their offensive has change drastically. True endgame of Shining Moon RO, offering the most difficult mob of the game, surpassed only by ruins.

Fortessa Ruins
The last expeditions that went to Fortessa Ruins reported that the dark energies also manifested in each of the monsters that live there. Only a few adventurers dare to set foot in the place. But everyone knows the saying, the darker it gets, the more you see the gold shining on it. Absolute endgame. Offers the most difficult mobs in the game.
