Automated Events
Shining Moon has several automated events in which everyone logged in can participate. They activate multiple times a day so watch for them carefully if you're trying to pile up your 
Event Coin ! When it's time for one to begin, the specific event is periodically broadcast to all players for a few minutes before the entrance is closed. This gives everyone a chance to get there before things get started. Anybody can participate in these, and the winners usually gain Moonlight Coins or other useful items. Event coins can be used in the Event Shop to buy various items.

Happy Hour: Battlegrounds
During these periods of times, all Battleground rewards are doubled.
- Reward: Twice as much rewards
Safe Portal
In this event you need to find a portal to take you to another map before the timer runs out or you will die.
Everyone that managed to get to the other map will go on to the next round until there is one person left as winner.
Undead Assault
When you join this event you will become a gunner and you need to kill the monsters that spawn.
If you get killed by a monster you will turn into a ghoul and you can attack other players to turn them into ghouls.
Trivia
In this event you need to answer a few questions the NPC asks you.
The questions are based on items and monsters in Ragnarok Online, but can ask you a question about something that has happened/happens in real life. Answers are CASE SENSITIVE.

Disguise Event
In this event you need guess the name of the monster presented to you.
Special World Boss: Fahrros
This event happens two times a day, once at 1PM and once at 1AM.
A world boss will spawn, but it requires more than just mindlessly whacking away. He has 2 mechanics to be aware of:
- When he pulls you to him: When this happens, you have to walk 5 cells away from him or you will die,
- When he sends you to the spawn area: You will have to be fast to walk back to him when this happens or you will die.
You have 5 seconds to perform each mechanic, succeeding in them will buff you with blessing and increase agi. Each time he performs a mechanic, his HP decreases by 5%, but will not result in his death. However, if a sufficient number of players are present, he will not lose hp.
The rewards for killing Fahrros will be mailed to you.
The mail contains a Fahrros Box, and when you open it, it contains 1 of the following items:
- 1-7 Moonlight Coins
- HD Elunium
- HD Oridecon
- HD Bradium
- HD Carnium

During these periods of times, all Gramps experience rewards are increased by up to 10%.
